My sister and her boyfriend are rock climbers, so I knew when they said they were coming for the weekend that we’d be spending some time at Stone Summit in Atlanta. If you have never been there, you need to go! This place is a huge, air-conditioned rock climbing gym with some seriously tall walls, and the best part, there’s a kid’s area where the little ones can play while you climb. If you don’t know what you are doing,t hey have instructors on-site to direct you and belay-certify you. There was a married couple who came in with their one year old and put him down to take a nap within site while they played
Our day started with lunch at the scrumptious Antico pizza restaurant near Georgia Tech. Another place you need to visit for THE BEST pizza in the Western hemisphere. Here is my sister, Ben, and my oldest after sharing a delicious pie.
My peanut picking rocks outside in the parking lot.
Climbing… my oldest got to the top for the first time, so she earned her very own chalk bag.
After a whole afternoon of climbing we needed to recharge the batteries and ended up at No Mas Cantina in Atlanta for some tasty mexican food. I love the ambiance of this restaurant, specially after the sun goes down.
